Holy Spirit Power

“To lay hands and to discern, to understand God's holy word

To speak in tongues and give interpretations, to prophecy with edification

To move in the midst of thy people

To heal the sick and raise the dead, to cast out devils like Jesus did

To open blinded eyes, cure the mind

To move the mountain and break up that fallow ground

Move in the midst of God's people

Move in me lord, like Shekinah Glory, Glory from on high

Endow me!

With the power of the Holy Ghost”

As you can see per these beautiful lyrics of the song “endow me” we need the power of the Holy Spirit to move in our lives as we travel through this life. The Bible says The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you. (John 14:26)- the Holy Spirit is our helper! He is our guide or GPS! Our navigation system!

The Holy Spirit is the one that speaks through me when I’m in trouble bringing to my remembrance the scriptures I’ve read and studied.

The Bible says “I am telling you the truth,” replied Jesus, “that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit. (John 3:5-6). Clearly it states we need the Holy Spirit to be born again! The trinity- God the Father who sent his son Jesus and The Holy Spirit who Jesus left for us to be with us today 🙌🏾

The Bible says “do not restrain the Holy Spirit”(1 Thessalonians). Allow the power to lead you! Allow the power to overtake you! Let go and let the Holy Spirit have his way in and through you 🙏🏾

The Bible says But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith. Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20) and

In the same way the Spirit also comes to help us, weak as we are. For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit himself pleads with God for us in groans that words cannot express. (Romans 8:26). Once you’ve been baptized in the spirit; pray in the spirit! The devil doesn’t understand our spiritual language so from your spirit will flow prayers and words sent straight to the kingdom of God!

As you can see, there are many biblical scriptures that encourage and let us know that our power comes from the Holy Spirit- of who is God and Jesus the conclusion of the of the trinity. As Jesus sits at the right hand of God interceding on our behalf, invite the Holy Spirit into your life, your heart and allow him to lead the way!
